![]() | Preside at all meetings of the Organization and Board. | |
![]() | Appoint all Committee Chairpersons and Committee Members. | |
![]() | Serve with the Principal of the school as Ex-Officio on all committees. | |
![]() | Coordinate the activities of officers and committees in order that all objectives be promoted and accomplished. | |
![]() | Perform other such duties as may be assigned by the By-Laws or assigned by the Organization or by the Board. |
![]() | Act as an aid to the President and assume the President’s duties in his or her absence. | |
![]() | Preside over meetings in the absence of the President. | |
![]() | Oversee committees as assigned by the Board. | |
![]() | Perform other such duties assigned by the Board from time to time. |

![]() | Keep an accurate record of receipts and expenditures. | |
![]() | Payout funds in accordance with the approved budget as authorized by the Organization. | |
![]() | Present a Financial Report at every meeting of the Organization and at other times when requested by the Board. | |
![]() | Create a full Annual Financial Report and file such report of financial condition with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as required by IRS regulations. | |
![]() | Prepare the Financial Report for audit twice a year (end of the first semester in late December/early January and upon completion of the Organization’s | |
| year ending transactions) and preside over said audits. |
![]() | Record the minutes of the Executive Board and General Membership meetings. | |
![]() | Prepare said minutes for publication and distribution in a timely manner as required by our By Laws and to maintain our 501(c)(3), non-profit status. |
![]() | Coordinating a Welcoming Committee and assist at such school events as New Student Orientations and Registrations, Open House, TAKS Parent | |
| Night, College & Career Night and various other events that may occur throughout the school year. |
![]() | Organize events for CWHS students, such as the Breakfasts of Champions and Red Ribbon Week. | |
![]() | Coordinate with the Staff Appreciation Coordinator(s) prizes and the distribution of said prizes for the Students & Teachers of the Six Weeks. |
![]() | Organize events for CWHS teachers, such as PTO staff member appreciation luncheons. | |
![]() | Coordinate with the Student Appreciation Coordinator(s) prizes and the distribution of said prizes for the Students & Teachers of the Six Weeks. |
![]() | Coordinate volunteers for events and functions throughout the school year. | |
![]() | Keep a volunteer log and assure that the PTO portion of the volunteer sign-in sheet found in the reception area of the school is accurate. | |
![]() | Oversee all aspects of the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner that takes place at the end of the school year. |
